Now’s a great chance to try out fishing, this Saturday and Sunday you don’t need to purchase any licenses/tags/endorsements thanks to ODFW’s “Free Fishing” Weekend. Deep Drop Rockfish continues to be our best producing trip, folks coming in with 10 rockfish/person daily. Light Tackle Bottom Fishing has been a bit slower, but we are still seeing fish and even a few Lingcod here and there. Tuna still pretty far offshore but edging closer. We do have a few trips coming up, so we may have a better report after the weekend. If you are looking for a good salmon bite, sign up for our Buoy 10 Salmon trip – there are a few left for this weekend!

A commercial crabber as well as a charter skipper, Rob is an avid fisherman. He studies the habits of fish, researches new techniques and gear, and uses his knowledge to help his customers catch more fish. When he’s not fishing or crabbing (which is rare!), Rob enjoys riding his dirtbike. No fish is safe when Rob is aboard the D&D!
